Vegetarian all over the world are finding more and more ways to convince people that being a vegetarian can bring you lots of healthy benefits and a shapely body that is super fit.  There was a recent Beet Burger competition wherein the best Beet Burger that won was conceptualized in the kitchen of an organization dedicated to promoting vegan diet as a healthy way to live.  Beets do come in diverse assortments and the most famous of all is the beetroot which comes in purple to almost red in color and this variety is the usual beet that is used for creating scrumptious recipes that can bring delight to the most discriminating taste buds.

Ingredients of the Beet Burger Recipe

To re-create the winning recipe, you will need:
2 tablespoons each of sesame seeds and soy sauce
1 cup oats, should be uncooked and you can choose either quick cooking oats or the regular oats
1 tablespoon each of vegetable broth (instant) or Vegix seasoning, raw beet that is finely grated, and optional yeast flakes
1 teaspoon basil (dried)
½ cup each of cooked oats (whatever kind), and walnuts (ground coarsely)
¼ cup each of minced green pepper, coarsely ground almonds, minced onion, and minced Celery
¼ teaspoon each of thyme (dried), sage (ground), and powdered mustard

Preparation and Cooking

You need to mix everything thoroughly but gently.  Get a serving size that will fit in the bread that you are going to use and form into patties.  Grill the burgers until cooked.  Serve on your favorite bread with some tomato slices and condiments that you prefer.
