Courgette Burger: You Love This Vegetable More Than You Think

There are lots of ways you can cook Courgettes or Zucchini especially during its season. One delicious recipe is the courgette burger. Just grate the zucchini then mix in some bread crumbs, onions, and seasoning and form into patties. Pan fry and serve either as a starter course or the main meal along with your choice of dip.

To cook this delicious veggie burgers prepare:

• 280g grated zucchini or courgette
• one lightly beaten egg
• melted butter of approximately 30g
• Breadcrumbs about 110g.
• You will also need to chop onions into fine pieces until you have around 1 tablespoon.
• Prepare 1 teaspoon of your favorite seasoning.
• Do not forget the flour! Set aside four tablespoons of it
• And lastly, vegetable of oil approximately 125g to use for frying.

Once all the ingredients are ready, you can now start cooking:

1. First, put the courgette, the beaten egg, butter, breadcrumbs and onions in a huge bowl. Add the seasoning and mix everything well.
2. Once all the ingredients are evenly blended, shape it into patties. Get the flour and lightly roll the patty in.
3. Heat vegetable oil in a pan and cook the courgette patty turning it over on the other side once it turns golden brown.
Your courgette burger recipe will serve six. Preparation time is twenty minutes and cooking time is ten minutes.
